It’s been said that time travel to the future is quite possible, but that traveling into the past would be extremely difficult, if not impossible…….however, considering that traveling to the past were possible, we could not travel back any further than before the time machine was constructed.

Ok, here’s a twist. What if we one day have the capabilities to travel to a distant planet in another galaxy far from our own that arose long before ours, or before Earth formed. Once on this planet we discover, or it’s brought to our attention that the inhabitants already have a fully functional time machine. Wouldn’t we then be able to travel back in time to any year in the history of Earth, and make the trip back here to see what things were like? I know it seems far fetched, but you can’t say that it isn’t plausible.

Thanks. To make this question clearer, the inhabitants of this other planet outside of our galaxy had already constructed their time machine before life arose on Earth, or, before Earth had even formed as a planet. This is the key factor for allowing us to travel to any point in Earth’s history.

When we traveled to this planet and discovered their time machine, we were technologically advanced enough to use other means of space travel to get us there in a very brief period of time, to which we can not yet comprehend today. Hence, we would use the same means of travel to return to Earth at any point early in it’s history via the alien’s time machine.

Communication and understanding of alien technology is a given because we, at that point in time, have progressed up to a higher level type civilization.

I asked a question in this site some days ago about travel to Canada. And I found some info about it, too. When I read all information that you guys, I think that I can travel to Canada with my Vietnamese Passport and my Greencard. But I don’t know why the Ticket officer suggested that I should apply for a Reentry Permit while I go to Canada just 1 month and 10 days.

I wonder if I need to apply or not, if I can use my Vietnamese passport to buy ticket (because they required Passport # for buying air ticket) and to travel.

You know, I’m a Permanent Resident of the U.S. I have been in the U.S. about 10 months. And I’d like to travel to Canada next month.
*persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of permanent residence.

Although I’m citizen of Vietnam, but now I’m a lawfully Permanent Resident admitted to the U.S. My question is can I use U.S. Greencard and Vietnamese Passport to entry Canada ? Or I need to apply for a Reentry Permit ? I cannot have a valid U.S. Passport, my Vietnamese Passport is still valid.
